A monument dedicated to the memory of Terry Fox, a Canadian who raised money for cancer research by attempting to run across the country from St. John's, Newfoundland, with a prosthetic leg. He made it to just outside of Thunder Bay, 5373 kms/3339 miles from his start before his cancer spread and he finally succumbed.
