Torrey Pines State Reserve
Torrey Pines is a local’s favorite and is home to six different trails. Each trail offers sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean with cliff side paths surrounded its stunning scenery. The trails at Torrey Pines are easily accessible for mildly active hikers while offering up more challenging options for those advanced. On weekends, the visitors’ center donates guided nature walks completely free of charge. Parking can be hard here as it tends to get crowded, fast. Visitors can try to grab a free parking space along the beach or pay to park in the reserve’s official lot. Afterwards, make sure you head to the local’s favorite sandwich spot, Board and Brew for a well-deserved lunch.
