Yuen Po Street Bird Garden
Mongkok’s Bird Market, also called the Yuen Po Market, is a little charming spot in the city. It is also the last one of its kind in Hong Kong. The park-like alleyway only has a few shops, but has a large variety of birds from canaries to parrots on display. It is also where shop owners showcase their handmade birdcages. Old locals would bring their caged birds to the area, much like how we bring our dogs to the park for a walk. Some would spend their mornings and afternoons here, feeding the birds fresh crickets or at other times, play card games while their birds chirp on their sides. #pleasant #yuenpostreetbirdpark #birds #birdstreet #free #market #hongkong #mongkok
