Tea Tree Bay
This is a world-famous point break that has seen some of the best surfers in the world. The 7-time world women’s champion Stephanie Gilmore names Tea Tree Bay as one of her top 10 waves to surf in the world. Tea Tree Bay is, as you can imagine, surrounded by Tea Trees and boasts a 400 to 500-meter long right-hand point break that breaks over rocks and sand. On its day Tea Tree produces some great high-performance waves, and also offers excellent longboarding waves on the smaller days. This spot is a must-visit when passing through Noosa, even if it is just to experience the wonderful scenery and the occasional koala. #surf #waves #australia
