Another great Northern beach to check out is Punta Aposentillo in Chinandega. The beach is a surfer’s haven as it has some of Nicaragua’s most classic A-frame waves. There are other different surf spots nearby such as the “Boom”, which is one of Nicaragua’s heaviest and hollow beach breaks. When high tide comes at Punta Asposentillo, the waves become more powerful, allowing for those advanced enough to surf it. Regardless of what beach you do find yourself at, there is one thing assured.
