Savor the refreshing and relaxing environment at a jimjilbang, a large and gender-segregated 24-hour public bathhouse in Korea. They are everywhere as they are part of the country’s national pastime. Each caters to a specific audience: from family-friendly to basic ones as you bond with your new boss (It does happen!). There are relaxing hot and cold soaking pools, massage areas, entertainment, and communal sleeping rooms.   Here, there are no social classes since everyone is stripped to their bare bones with only the towels or in their plain-clothed attire. It’s a great place to get to know the locals and don’t be surprised if someone asks you where you’re from.
