This grand old dame of a hotel just drips with charm and class. Rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast buffet is generous, service is stellar and it’s park side location is ideal, it’s one of Zagreb’s oldest and best. Palace Hotel is a bit pricey (although not outrageously so) but if it’s a stretch for your wallet, at least stop into the cafe for an evening tipple. You’ll be attended to by exceeding well-mannered and well-dressed servers while you check out the old frescos and captivating stained glass.
