Spy Pond, about a 20 minute drive from the heart of Boston (during a no traffic time of day) is a beautiful site to behold. The walk along the water is gorgeous, and there are many little beaches, large rocks, and picnic tables for picnicking at or just chilling. There is a playground there for children, as well as a baseball field and, in addition to a walking path along the water, there is a biking/running path a few yards further from the pond. My recommendation: go during sunset. It's truly breathtaking. Also, keep an eye out for the birdhouse mansion there - it's stunning! Note, however, that swimming in Spy Pond is not allowed. #Boston #outdoor #nature
