It is not what you would expect by standing outside. One of the first Jesuit churches in the world, this is one of the best examples of Portuguese Baroque and Mannerist art. It also features a museum of religious art. Tip: Just a few steps away are Duque’s stairs leading to Rossio, the Cervejaria Trindade (the oldest brewery in Portugal) and the S.
