Rewarding views from a 3-4 mile hike right on the Seward Hwy. Trail starts winding quickly up through the forest to a narrow trail that follows the creek. Early July lent itself to fields of wildflowers above the tree line. Hike all the way to the alpine lake and dip your toes in between the remaining patches of ice.
