Orangerie Museum
This 19th century building, situated in the delightful Jardin de Tuileries, houses a truly stellar collection of paintings. The crowds come predominantly to view Monet’s massive Water Lillie’s” canvases, which in itself, can be quite a bit to take in. But I personally preferred the private collection of early modern art masters. All the big names are here, along with some glorious works by (somewhat) lesser-known but equally brilliant artists such as Soutine and Utrillo, make sure not to miss these..
