"Ak Orda", or the Presidential Palace, is located on the left bank of the Ichim river, on the "millenium line" designed by the first President Nazarbaiev. It has been built within 3 years, and acheived in 2004 by a company owned by the first Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo. This palace is the place where works the President so you can't go too close from it. The golden statue on the top of the dome roof reprensents a sun (as on the Kazakh flag) and an eagle from the steppes. It's very impressive as it dominates the "President's Park". Although you can't visit inside, it is known that 21 different types of marbles have been used to create the floor of this building.
