The main attraction of Poas Volcano National Park is obviously the volcano. But apart from the dramatic volcanic crater oozing sulpherous fumes into the air, the park is also home to the easily accessible cloud forest. You can take a trail through the stunted and twisted forest to lake Botos on the bottom of an extinct crater and see the wildlife along the way.
