Al Balad is Jeddah’s old city center and now an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Turn off your smartphone GPS for a bit and wander its streets. You’ll find a few souvenir shops, awesome photo ops, buildings 2,000-4,000 years old, and certainly an old world charm.
