Just over five minutes’ walk from Cat and Dog on Fishponds Road is another of Banksy’s artworks with an animal theme. The Masked Gorilla that is there today is not the original though - there was a local uproar back in 2011 when the first version was accidentally painted over by a new owner of the building who was clueless to its value.
