Longyearbyen
I love exploring the arctic and this photo of September last year in Longyearbyen was one of the greatest travel experiences I’ve ever had! This August, I am preparing myself to explore the Greenland ??. I will be in Kangerlussuaq and Nuuk in one of my solo travelling. Aside from hiking, I will challenge myself to do ice arctic scuba diving and do camping in one of the coldest parts of the region. One of my ice scuba preparations is having a bath in a bathtub full of ice. Hahahaha I remember when I did a scuba diving in the Silfra Fissure, a rift in between the North America and Eurasian tectonic plates in Thingvellir National Park in Reykjavik, Iceland ?? 3 years ago, it was bloody cold even though I had a dry suit diving gear. I managed to finish the 40 minutes diving, however, I had 5 cuppa teas that time. I didn’t condition myself properly and even though I went straight to the Blue lagoon after that, I still felt the cold water! ???? that’s how crazy I am! The best of luck to me and stay tune for my indescribable travel experiences as a female solo travelling in the Arctic. I am hoping next year, I could afford to travel to the Antarctica ?? to complete the visiting of the 7 continents in the world! ?
