If you want a fancy pants cocktailaria to celebrate your trip to BCN, head to Eclipse bar! It has its own button in that beautiful sail shaped hotel on the edge of Barceloneta beach, the W. Door stewards may ask if you have a room or reservation, so come well dressed. It's not necessary but I guess they use the questions to keep a high profile at the bar. The view over Barcelona is as amazing as their cocktails. Don't expect any 'classics'. You can order a magnum of champagne for as little as 300€ if you're a big spender. I prefer to come for one €14 cocktail, enjoy the unique views and head some place cheaper. It's the kind of place that has a VIP area... but it's worth all that stinky pretentiousness for the beautiful cocktails, durty old school R&B and amazing views over the city.
