This white comblike work was the first done by Calatrava. It represents the height of modernity in the face of tradition. That’s why is known as La Peineta (an ornamental comb ) on account of its unique shape. It is built in high-tensile steel and it is set on one single span, with a14m high arch running from one end to the other.
