Poffertjes...impossible to pronounce but the best thing I ate while I was in Amsterdam. Poffertjes are little warm pillowy pancakes of joy. They’re made in a specific type of pan (a poffertje pan!) and are usually served with icing sugar, melted butter and a side of avocaat! You’ll be surprised at the taste as they taste a lot different to the likes of crepes and American pancakes.
