Loki Fish Company
Full disclosure: I worked here for three years and because of it I'm spoiled and have trouble eating salmon from anywhere else. Loki is a family owned fishing company. Boat to throat business, no buy boats no middle men. Most of the fish comes from Alaska and the fish are bled out and gutted on board right after they're caught making for some seriously high quality well handled fish. It's also an extremely ethical company, Pete Knutson the founder is an environmental rights activist and the fish is always caught in the most sustainable way possible. I can keep singing praises but just go pick some up (I didn't mention that you can get a whole pink salmon (the whole fish up to 4 lbs) for $11) at local Seattle farmer's markets: u-district, Ballard, Capitol Hill, and West Seattle. Also some of the nicest restaurants in Seattle use our fish so it can show up there. Ack last thing when fresh keta ikura is available it's a must. I dream about it daily here in Colombia. Freshly made on board by the deckhands! #cheap-eats #fine-dining
