The best view of Angkor Wat is at sunrise. Heading to the site at 4:30 am, when it's still dark, gives the opportunity to admire the change of light and sight little by little. Most people sit right in front of the temple, on the left. But the best spot is a bit further back and on the right. From there, it's possible to move to follow the best views.
