This tower was build in 1462 especially as a sign of strength of the independent town. Due to it’s instability the tower had been close for several years but today is newly open and you can easily go up to the top. On the clearest days you can see kilometers far and appreciate the old town from an unique point of view. If you have fear of heights (50m from the ground) my personal advice is to admire the tower from “salita al castello” street, it’s the most beautiful side. #tower #piedmont #oldtown
