Another local favorite, this hike is a bit of a choose-your-own-adventure as you can decide how difficult or long you want it to be. You can keep it short and sweet and head for Lake Mary, the first of the three lakes. Technically a reservoir, Lake Mary is the largest and is surrounded by stunning granite formations. If you’re feeling up for it, continue to Lake Martha which is only a short distance from Lake Mary. And finally, if you want more elevation, push on to Lake Catherine for a total of 4.4 miles round trip. Generally, the trail is quite moderate with only a few steep sections, and is surrounded by beautiful wildflowers in the summer. #mountainlake #hike #nature
