Gold Museum
The Museo de Oro or Gold Museum is one of the most unique museums in Bogota showcasing over 55,000 pieces of gold, in the form of gold figures, jewelry, and other pieces. These gold pieces were found all around the country, the museum showcases where the collections were found and information about the tribes which created them and lived in the areas. The gold artifacts were made by tribes throughout Colombia and the museum showcase a glimpse into Colombian history. Usually, the museum has a $4,000COP entry requirement but on Sundays entry is free.
