The Grand Canyon of the Pacific. While navigating through the endless "sea of humanity" (as I often call large overwhelming crowds) took some energy, it did not diminish the grandeur or magic of Waimea Canyon. The very first time I went, the entire canyon was covered by a thick fog layer so I literally saw NOTHING. This time around, I felt as if the resident roosters rolled out the red carpet and sang their rooster songs just for me! Kauai is magic and this place is by far something to see.
