Lake Raleigh is a great local spot located on the Centennial Campus of NC State. If school is in session and it's nice out, you'll see students walking, running, and riding on the path that weaves through campus and near the lake. There are a couple of fishing beds off the edge of the docks, but I've yet to try my luck. It's the perfect lake for stand up paddle boarders, especially beginners. I'd also highly recommend bringing a picnic and watching the sunset from the hill where this picture was taken. #lake #raleigh #fishing #sup #trail #walking
