Uptown, Chicago
I am slightly biased because I live in this neighborhood BUT travelers often overlook Uptown when coming to Chicago. Let my try to sway you: Uptown is THE most culturally diverse neighborhood in the city of chicago (if you know a bit about chicago you'll know why that's a big deal lol). On one block you might be walking through Little Vietnam, head a bit south and you'll hit amazing jazz and spoken word culture, interested in seeing where Al Capone used to hang out, check out the green mill, one of the oldest record shops lives here, then you'll pass a African grocery store, walk a few more blocks and you're entering a Swedish area. AND we are right off of the lake front with access to the cities largest dog beach and in my opinion some of the best views of the skyline. I will leave you with that and if you would like a tour guide of Uptown I'd be happy to assist :)
