The Masaya market is one of the main reasons to visit this town - I’d been told this is where many of Nicaragua’s artisans live. You can find good quality gifts or souvenirs for a lower cost than in Granada- be aware of the knock offs for coffee or cigars. It’s an inexpensive and easy excursion from Granada!
