From the Laguna de los Tres lookout, trek down to where the trail branches and take the Laguna Madre e Hija trail, which is 8 kilometres and connects to the Laguna Torre trail. It’s a fairly flat walk across open ground forest, past Laguna Madre and Laguna Hija, both blue lakes and beautiful scenery, being able to see Mt. Fitz Roy. Closer to the end you’ll walk alongside the brown Rio Fitz Roy before getting a ‘wow’ moment when arriving at ice covered Mirador Maestri, a backdrop to the brown Laguna Torre where icebergs float. #chile #cerrotorre #trekking
