These ruins are located approximately 12km from the larger ruins in Trinidad and can also be easily reached by local bus or shared taxi (a tourist info office is located near the petrol station if you need to check bus times). If visiting both ruins in one day it is best to visit these ruins first, as it can be a challenge to get public transport back to Trinidad later in the day. It is possible to get an explanation of the site on arrival (in Spanish, not sure if English is available) from one of the staff members. This is a small ruin so only requires around 30 minutes to explore and take photos.
