Bells beach is the location of the famous Rip Curl Pro surf competition which happens at the end of March each year. We visited just one week before and saw all the stands built on the surrounding cliffs which will soon be filled with surf enthusiasts. The waves were not too crazy when we visited unfortunately but we were able to watch some surfers sailing on the waves. For me, even just the beautiful surrounding limestone cliffs are enough to visit.
