Did an #extreme #glacier #tour with Icelandic Mountain Guides. For about $122 USD, you will be provided crumpets and an axe for the treek. The axe is mostly for balance. The guide will give you a history of the area as they walk you up the glacier. A very peaceful experience! We lucked out with good weather the day we went. Apparently it is a rain or shine activity.
