GLENAT
Glénat is a local editor of comics book and regional books with its head office in a 17th century convent in the historic center of Grenoble. You can still visit the Chapel inside for free and there are regular exhibitions and workshops. The statue at the entrance is the statue of Titeuf, a famous character of a French comic book, and it shows the transformation the building went through since 1624. It was taken over by the French army after the 1789 revolution, until 1925, when it became a cinema. After the second world War, it turned into a night club called 'l'enfer' (hell) then into a theater from 1974 to 1999. In 2004 Les Éditions Glénat renovated and privatized the building. #grenoble #france #comics #convent
