Visit the Atomic Bomb Dome or more commonly known as A-­Dome.  It is the only building to survive the huge blast. This is a historical site that has been listed as a World Heritage Site as well. This is a must­-see for anyone visiting Hiroshima, not least because there are such valuable lessons to learn from here. Besides learning more about the atomic bombing from the museum nearby, you can read and listen to the stories shared by families of the original victims laid around the site.
