Take a day hike and camp at one of the most beautiful spots in New Mexico. Pictures just don’t do this place justice because it will take your breath away. For my first backpacking trip this was the destination and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The weather was a little rainy and cold in September as to be expected and that didn’t take away from the experience at all.
