This California-based giant craft brewery (10th largest in US) opened up their east coast facility in none other than Richmond, VA. Their plant is immaculate and sights of it can be caught from inside their open, industrial tap room (ask about tours too if you’re interested). They have tons of beers to pick from but specialize in IPAs of numerous sorts. Lots of space both inside and out but seating often fills up so plan on standing. As a bonuses the taproom patio offers some beautiful views of the city skyline and quick access to the Virginia Capital Trail for biking or walking alongside the canal. You can easily walk from downtown (about 30 minutes). #beer
