This one beckons from a distance. Dating back to 1181, the Evangelical Church is a distinctive landmark of Hallstatt because of it's elegant tall tower dating back to the 12th-century. The Gothic touch is apparent in the architecture of the grey structure. Of the two churches in Hallstatt, it is this one that is the more famous and more photographed.
