Sheik Zayed Grand Mosque is the 4th largest mosque in the world, and it is a breathtaking structure. Made entirely of marble and adorned with precious stones and mother of pearl, it is a masterpiece in architecture. While it is not located in Dubai, but instead in UAE’s capital of Abu Dhabi, it is only a 1-1.5 hour drive from Dubai depending on traffic. Go towards the end of the day during sunset for fewer crowds and dramatic lighting.
