One of my favorite hikes on Earth. Done it many times and I'd probably do it daily if I lived in Cape Town . Tell the cab driver to drop you at the "trailhead for Lions Head on signal hill". Hike to the top is 35min-1hr depending on how fast you hike. There are chains and steps in the rock so anyone can do it including kids.
