Far from the downtown scene, 3rd Turn Brewing has set up shop in J-Town on the southeast side of town. Built from the bones of a church circa 1878, this newer brewery on the scene has tons of character. Through the stunning stained glass windows, the interior has an open floor plan and expansive ceiling. There is a patio and dogs are allowed both inside and out. There’s not a food menu but you can bring your own, and you can usually find a food truck right outside on the weekend. 3rd Turn now has a second location in Oldham County that is home to a beautiful outdoor beer garden.
