An interesting experience to visit a prison in a foreign country. This prison is like nothing I've experienced. The prisoners are allowed out of their cells during the day (except high security ones) and all have jobs that help the prison run. There are farmers, entertainers, craftsmen, etc. Take a trike up instead of a tour so you can spend some time talking to the prisoners. They have some amazing stories and are not what you would expect from prisoners. They'll do a dance for you when you first arrive. Bring them cigarettes and they'll tell you anything you want to know. #prison #experience #philippines #story
