Pointe D'esny is located on the south-east coast of the airport and is very easily reached from the airport, which is a 15 minute drive away. Set within a smaller residential part of the island, this long stretch of white sandy beach offers a calmer atmosphere than some of Mauritius' more busy tourist spots. The natural reserve of Ile aux Aigrettes is located just off the coast from the beach and with its population of giant tortoises and rare pink pigeons, its well worth a visit. #Mauritius #beach #naturalreserve
