Quiet neighborhood place in East Carrollton. This was the best dining experience I've had in Nola. North African food by Macef and Jamila. They've been in business since 1994. Macef knew everyone in the restaurant -- including a couple who hadn't been there in decades, he even asked about their family members by name and remembered that their daughter played the saxophone. The lamb chops were fantastic. Ask Macef to make you a mixture of all the salads.
