Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien
It’s hard to know even where to start with this august institution, it is certainly one of the finest on the continent. The Kunsthistorisches Museum basically covers everything from ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome up to the Renaissance. My personal favorites are Brruegel’s “The Tower of Babel” and Caravaggio’s “Madonna of the Rosary” but there is something here to please any art lover. Plan on spending at least a couple of hours here, you will need it.
