Punta hermosa is the preferred summer spot for many limenians. From December through March, this small beach town is completely packed, especially on the weekends. This is where the limenians seek refuge from the hot weather. Punta Hermosa has great nightlife and seafood. During the winter, when the big waves arrive, many surfers head to pico alto and the rest of punta hermosa which is about 30 to 40 minutes south of Lima and can be reached by public transportation. #surfing #peru #beach #seafood
