Incredible winter backcountry experience at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, CO. Inexpensive lodging ranging from rustic cabin without electricity and heated by wood fire to a full home with gas, electric and refrigerator. They supply water and wood. Access the cabins via cross country skis or snowshoes via mostly groomed road.
