Douarnenez is a beautiful town in Brittany that has kept its authenticity. The atmosphere is very laid back and few tourists make it to that town. It was famous for its sardine fisheries. But today most of the sardines canned there is coming from elsewhere. It is a comfortable place to plan day trips around and you can find the traditional crêpes in the morning market!
