Historical city that used to be Sergipe's capital before Aracaju. A great place to spend an afternoon or morning to learn a bit more about this state history, and also to enjoy the old town architecture. It's easy to reach it by bus from Aracaju. You have to go to the old bus station (Rodoviária Velha) and then take the mini bus to São Cristóvão (there will be someone screaming the destination's name when it's the bus' departure time).
