Kalyan minaret, or the Great Minaret of the Kalinowski, is the tallest minaret in Central Asia. It is part of the Poi-Kalyan mosque complex and stands at 45 m tall. It is also known as the Tower is Death because criminals were thrown off the top of the minaret in the Middle Ages. #uzbekistan #architecture #silkroad
