Overlooking Lake Pichola, the City Palace has grand views over the lake and city of Udaipur. Building commenced in the 1500's and continued for close to 400 years, with stunning architecture (a fusion of Rajastani, European, Mughal & Chinese) and design featuring throughout the entire complex. The main part of the palace has now been converted into a museum for the public to enjoy.
